Also called Spring Raab, Broccoli Raab and Asparago Broccoli in Italy where it is prized as a gourmet delight. An Italian non-heading broccoli grown for flavorful, asparagus-like spring shoots and leaves. This one is great for cooking or in salads. Loaded with vitamin A, and so delicious!

Grow it in the spring and then again the fall. The trick to avoid too much bitterness is to grow them fast in fertile soil rich in organic matter and nitrogen.
